Monday Spotlight: Kele Moon

Writing Beyond Eden
By Kele Moon

Hi, my name is Kele Moon and I’m here to talk about my breakout novel Beyond Eden. Unique and passionate, this erotic Garden of Eden tale has received rave reviews from both readers and reviewers alike since its release last month from Ellora’s Cave. Over a year in the making finally getting the book I breathed my heart and soul into out in the world is very exciting for me. I appreciate the lovely ladies at Whipped Cream for letting me tell you a little bit about it.

Set in modern day Tampa, three lifelong friends come together for a very emotional journey that takes them Beyond Eden. Danny, Paul, and Eve are just regular people, trying to live normal lives, but dark secrets and burning passions make it impossible. The mirror to the original Garden of Eden love story becomes clear when the devilish Danny charms Eve and Paul to take a taste of the forbidden.

In writing Beyond Eden I challenged myself with the question, “What if you WANTED the devil to win?” As an erotica writer, temptation was a compelling topic to explore, but I was inclined to make giving into temptation the ultimate aim as opposed to resisting it. What unfolded as a result is something I’m very proud of. The journey the characters take is extremely poignant and I fell in love with all three of them along the way. More so, I fell in love with the passionate love story they let me tell.

Laced with symbolism, the magic of true love and a taste of the forbidden Beyond Eden is a dark, edgy, extremely emotional erotic romance with the strong BDSM elements that help to tell Danny, Paul and Eve’s story.

“What if you WANTED the devil to win?”

When I was a kid, I always wanted the "bad guys" to win, for once!

I look forward in reading Beyond Eden (it's on my wishlist) and your other posts this week.

Thanks,
Tracey D

I just wanted to let you know that I always avoided something with a M/M relationship in it. But there was something so interesting when I read the description of your book on the day it came out. Then I went over to goodreads.com to see if anyone and had read it yet, and there were two great reviews. So I bit the proverbial apple and bought it the second time I looked at it. And I'm so glad I did. It was marvelously decadent. Thank you so much for writing it!
